I. Basic Terms Info
- "The site" refers to this online game itself (minineo.net).
- "We" and "Us" refer the site's owner(s).
- "You" and "The user" refer to anyone using the site, regardless of whether they read this contract or not.
- "User assets" refer to the virtual pets, items, and other things that users can collect while playing on the site.
- "Site assets" include things such as pet drawings, coding, and anything else owned by us.
II. What we do
We give the user a site to communicate with others, play virtual games, collect virtual goods such as pets and items, as well as other features. We agree to keep the site up and running as much as reasonably possible, to ban users who break this contract, and to overall keep everything running smoothly.
III. Core Rules
- If you find a method to cheat on the site (such as user asset generators or automatic buying tools), you are hereby obliged to report it to one of the site admins. Creating such methods is considered hacking the site.
- Hacking the site in any shape or form is considered illegal, and if it is serious enough, you not only forfeit your rights to use the site, but also stand a chance of having your internet service provider blocking you.
- Hacking is considered to be any method that disrupts the site, such as defacing pages, Denial Of Service attacks, logging into other users' accounts, and other, similar activities.
- By using the site, the user agrees that they are at least 13 years of age.
- Keep offensive characters toned down to a level that would not offend a great number of people. This includes characters with extreme pasts, radical beliefs, and anything that you wouldn't find in a rated R movie. Please mark mature content where applicable.
- Users under the age of 13 are not allowed to join MiniNeo. This in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) . You will be banned if you are under 13.
- Harrassment of any users via Mail or Forum will not be tolerated. If we find you harrassing other users, you will be banned. If you have a problem with them, talk to them instead of being harrassing.
- The admins are just doing their job. If they send you a warning or a ban, it won't be for no reason, they will tell you why. Do not be angry with individual admins for just trying to keep the site running smoothly.
IV. User Asset Rules
- Every user asset (including the accounts themselves) on this site is for playing on this site only, and may not be sold for other sites' assets or real world money.
- Using any external tool is not allowed.
- Any glitches you may discover should be posted on the "Bugs" board in the forums for prompt review.
- Customizable user assets cannot be named after any racist, pornographic, illegal substances, or any other inappropriate terms, as according to our decision.
V. Forum-Specific Rules
Please note: Unless marked otherwise, rules in this section also apply to live chat. Action will be taken against your account if your behaviors in go against these rules.
- Discussion or posting images of pornography, discriminatory topics, illegal substances, hacking into this site or other sites, and warez (illegal software) is not allowed. Linking to sites about these topics is not allowed, either. This is left to the discretion of the owners. The breaking of this rule can lead to your account being banned from the forums or from the site.
- Spam, chatspeak, and using all caps is not allowed on the forums.
- Keep drama to private messages.
- Any profanity or 'mature' topics should be labeled with an M in the title so that users wishing to avoid these may do so.
- Profanity is not allowed in forum topics.
- Profanity may not be directed towards another player.
- 'Player' in this case means physical person. This does not apply to roleplays.
VI. Other Rules
- Stealing assets from the site is strictly prohibited, as is posting other site's assets as your own.
- Use common sense with the community (don't share any personal information or your password).

You agree to this contract by using the site. Breaking the contract can result in an account or IP ban. We hope you enjoy MiniNeo!
