Hello, and welcome to the website of the Mini Cooper Car Club of Northeastern Ohio!

We are a free club, open to all MINI/Mini Enthusiasts, whether or not they own one. If you would like to join our club, you may do so at our club forums: www.minineo.net/forums. There are no dues (and never will be so long as I'm running things!) and no obligations. No mandatory events. No pressure. No worries. We're just a bunch of people who like to get together, talk about our cars, drive a bit, and drink even more. (Of course we do not condone drinking and driving!)

Mini NEO has been around since October of 2002. Back then it was a branch of a larger club known as MiniOKI (Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana) which disbanded in early 2003. Since then our membership numbers have gone from 20 to over 200 as of now (August 2006!) Our members are not strictly limited to the Northeast Ohio area - anyone is welcome. We have people from Florida to Virginia to California!

One downside of having no dues or obligations is that we tend to have events on a fairly sparse basis. This is something that I plan on changing - I am working with club members, requesting that anyone that has an idea for an event to go ahead and start planning it, I will usually back them 100%. I also plan on working with our local MINI dealer, Classic MINI (www.driveclassicmini.com) to help organize some exciting events in the future.

So, feel free to wander around the site. You can find news and upcoming events listed under the "News & Events" heading at the top of the page. "Forums" will bring you to a link to our club forum (www.minineo.net/forums) and to a new club feature, a chatroom (which we can hopefully get some use out of!) At the "Gallery" page, you can find pictures of members' Minis & MINIs - to get your picture up there all you need to do is e-mail it to us at minigal (at) minineo.net! The "Contact & Guestbook" link is pretty self-explanatory - you can find contact information and a guesbook to post your comments. The "Vendors" page contains a list and descriptions of preferred Mini related vendors. Finally, the "Links" page is where you can find links to various websiites, organizations and companies affliliated with the club in one way or another.
